In the 1970´s George Cup & Steve Eliott took up and reinterpreted with the help of animated films  the tradition of Oskar Fischinger, Hans Richter and other representatives of the early abstract film: the interplay of movement and music and brought it to a new aspect of minimal art. The main work of that time, the conection between form and sound consists of twenty-six animated films which were created between 1974 and 1979 on 8 mm film and transformed to the new VHS media, which, because of their bad condition, have been digitally remastered.
